Climb to help indigenous mountain farmers conserve the highlands!

Why I am a Champion for this Cause

Eric and Karyn met almost four years ago and have since logged over 30,000 miles in their ’89 Chevy Blazer as they have explored America. They have lived in four states together, visited 25, seen five national parks and monuments, and countless other wonders of the United States.

Since marrying a year and a half ago, Eric and Karyn have searched high and low for a memorable, exceptional, and unique way to honeymoon. Combining the challenge of climbing a mountain with the charity of helping a rural mountain community is the perfect way to celebrate this adventurous, giving, and spirited couple’s beginning.

On March 18th, 2011 Eric and Karyn plan to climb 4,585 ft to Volcano Cotopaxi’s summit at 19,347 ft. Help them raise 75 cents for every ft they climb – that’s $3,438.75 to help rural mountain communities have a better life and protect their fragile ecosystems!
